When a caller mentioned that she was making "Hanky Pankies" this weekend for her Superbowl Party, everone wanted to know the recipe! I got a bunch emailed to me... feel free to use whichever you like! (they all seem quite similar... but ya have a few to choose from)
Here they are:
FROM LISTENER CONNIE
1lb ground meat
1lb bob evan's pork sausage (i use the maple flavored as it really gives a great taste) 1lb velveeta cheese
In a skillet brown ground meat and sausage. drain fat. cube the cheese and continue cooking over low heat until cheese melted.
Put little breads on cookie sheet and put spoonful of meat onto the little breads.
These are great to make ahead of time and you can keep them covered on cookie sheet until you are ready to bake them at 350 approximately 15 minutes and then serve!
FROM LISTENER DEB
