IT'S A Q104 STAFF MEETING!

Every few months or so, the whole Q Crew gathers for a big 'ol staff meeting... we talk about all the fun things we get to do on air, and it's a great way to catch up with the people I don't get to see all the time... the Wilde & Fee crew (since our schedules are so opposite!) and some of your favorite weekend personalities too! Here's Skippy the PD enjoying some of the yummy food he provided for us all...

I wanted to tell you that we found Precious! A beautiful gal named Dana found her because she heard you mention it on your show!! Can't you even believe it! Amazing what a brief moment in time can accomplish. I can't even begin to tell you how grateful my sister is!! We are indebted to you forever. Thank-you for your kindness and caring. LOST DOG! HELP IF YOU CAN!

I am hoping you can help. My sister lost her dog this morning. She is a 3 LB Yorkie whose name is Precious. The collar slipped off her little head so she has no identification. Precious lives in the Elyria area by the streets of Defiance/ Carol Lane area.

Some lucky Q104 listeners that got to come in and meet Elliott! He signed autographs and took picutres with everyone... such a nice guy!
Here he is! It's Elliot Yamin! I always think it's a really special experience to meet anyone from American Idol because it's such a HUGE show... I asked Elliott if they ever spend any time with the judges outside of the nights that they see them on TV. He said nope... the only time they see them are the nights of the show...
Tim Richards (our new midday guy, formerly night guy), bonding with his replacement, Rob Kruz (the new night guy)... ummm.... does this picture make you as uncomfortable as it makes me???? Lol... totally kidding, of course... what a great crew we've got here at the Mighty Q...

ADAM WAS A GREAT CONTESTANT!!!

Adam was a winner on my show by sending in an email telling us in 50 words or less why he was the biggest Billy Joel fan. So we got to go on live TV on Fox 8 and compete for front row tickets for him! We were sooooo sad to lose the contest (it was close - I swear!)... BUT... being a, um, team player and all... and in the spirit of, um, healthy, uh competition... congratulations to the winner from Wilde and Fee's show who actually did win the tickets (dang it all!!!! I wanted Adam to win =)

And here we all are with the superstar herself... it's ROBIN!!! And how cool are Fox 8 and Live Nation? Even though he didn't win the front row seats, they still gave him 4 tickets to the show! By the way, I sent my parents to see Billy Joel on Friday and they said it was AWESOME! Post your comments here if you saw the show!

JUST A FEW MORE FROM TAYLOR PARTY...

TAYLOR HICKS SOUNDCHECK PARTY AT THE HOUSE OF BLUES

How cool! On Saturday before his show at the House of Blues, Taylor Hicks did a soundcheck party with Q104 listeners... and what an experience it was! He sang about 4 or 5 songs for everyone and then spent time talking to each winner, signing things, taking photos etc. If you thought this guy was good on American Idol, to hear him live will blow you away. It appears to be so effortless for him... and the energy and spirit of this whole band was fantastic.
This is GRACE! OUR Q104 "HICKS IN A BOX" WINNER! She is a true "Soul Patroler"... and came prepared in her Team Taylor shirt and even gave him those beautiful roses... I think she about passed out when she actually got to meet him! (um, by the way, I think I almost did too...)
These guys are in the band... and they're just as cool and down-to-earth as Taylor seemed to be... we spent quite a bit of time chatting with them... Loren, on the right, actually wrote the first song on the album and serves as music director on the tour...
And here it is... the shining moment... I realize I may sound like a total dork, but I was a Taylor fan the entire Idol season and thought it was just so cool to actually be get a photo op with him! Probably goes down as one of my favorite radio moments so far in life...

I also have to point out, that this one of my bestest friends Rachel... we met Taylor on the day of her Bachelorette party so it was an extra special treat for her... and she is such a brat because the minute we looked at these pix, she couldn't stop pointing out the fact that Taylor actually looks much "happier" in this picture than in the one he took with me, AND she put her hand on him for the pic. She's such a terd... I think I'm just jealous because the 'lil B!t%h is right! And by the way just before this pic was taken, she shoved me and said "get out of my picture B!%ch"... and Taylor also found that quite entertaining. So she's also bragging to everyone that "Taylor Hicks thinks she's funny..."
