DID JAMES BLUNT RUN OVER A GUY'S FOOT?

According to several witnesses, James Blunt drove his black SUV over the leg of an autograph seeker as he and his supermodel girlfriend Petra Nemcova slowly pulled away from a Hollywood party Friday night.
According to police, LAPD has not yet "identified" the driver of the vehicle during the accident , however, TMZ ran THIS photo of James Blunt in the driver's seat!
A rep for Blunt says that, the person run over "wasn't a fan" and says, "It was a ton of paparazzi that were all swarming [James'] car as he was driving two MPH trying to navigate his way through them... They were invading his space. He was just trying to quietly leave the party." She adds that James is "looking into the matter and will cooperate."

IT WAS A PAPARAZZI MOMENT!

We are so lucky to get to go to LA and broadcast live from the Grammy Awards... on Saturday we had some free time to just drive around and see the sites... as we're driving down Sunset Blvd past a restaurant called "Red Rock" we see a swarm of people with cameras... and we realize someone famous is inside! After about 5 u-turns and drive by's, we asked one of the photogs and he tells us LINDSAY LOHAN IS INSIDE! Now I am not a Lohan fan, necessarily, BUT I found it super cool to be experiencing a paparazzi moment... here is my attempt at getting a shot of the paparazzi... as you can see, Brian Conroy's head is looking... just to the right of what you can see in the picture are MANY photogs swarming the door. (clearly I don't have a future as a photographer) Although we didn't actually see Lindsay leave the restaurant, I found these photos online at bricksandstones.blogspot.com of the moment we "just missed"...

JAMES BLUNT!
If you watch Desperate Housewives, you know who Josh Henderson is... the bad boy nephew of Edie... here he is stoppin' by to say hi.
LOOK! It's Gnarls Barkley! Well, actually, it's Cee Lo from the band Gnarls Barkley... signing a drum head that will later be given away to a lucky Q104 listener! The band is nominated for 5 Grammy Awards...
Cee Lo said if he could win only one of the 5 categories they're nominated for, he'd want "Album of the Year."
Just one more shot with Cee Lo... this guy was SUPER nice... had such a long day and STILL took the time to sit down and talk to us. And surprisingly, he's very soft spoken!
Have you ever watched the show Crank Yankers? The guy on the left is Jim Valentine and he does puppet voices on that show... you've seen the guy on the right on Sex and the City (the Weight Watchers episode with Miranda) and he's going to be doing work with ESPN beginning this week. Jim Valentine is coming to the Improv in Cleveland at the end of the month... and he is FUNNY! I've never seen his stand up, but after talking to him at the Grammys, this guy is cool...
This guy's name is Matt White... check him out on Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/mattwhitemusic super nice and what a great voice!
The legendary Kenny Loggins!!!! His brand new album will be sold exclusively in Target Stores Feb 25th.
Remember the band 98 Degrees? This is Jeff Timmons from the band! And the music producer from his new show that will be on Vh1 late spring tentatively called "Man Band" (he hates the name by the way) This prouducer is nominated for a Grammy this Sunday night for his work on the Mary J. Blige single "Be Without You."
This is the guy that puts together the actual GRAMMY SWAG BAGS! Worth $45,000 this year... including "Guitar Hero II", a REAL guitar, skin care, face care... so many goodies. His name is Lash Fary and he's super fun.
Remember this guy???? He was on American Idol and had that petition signed so that he could get in to sing? Right after his wife passed away? Brought Paula (and half of the viewers) to tears when he sang... this guy is adorable. Although we didn't interview him, he did pose for a quick photo...

LIVE AT THE 2007 GRAMMY AWARDS!

This is actually where we sit to do the broadcast... it's in the Club area of the Staples Center... see that wood wall behind us? Right on the other side of it is the actual Staples Center... seats in the 100 level and the big huge GRAMMY STAGE!
Each year that we do this broadcast, we're always known as 'the candy people'. I always make sure we stock up on tons of delicious candy - snickers, sour patch kids, valentines hearts... I mean everything. We do this because sometimes it gets SO CRAZY back there it's hard to get all of the people we want to talk to to actually stop at our table... CANDY lures them in! Sounds silly, but it REALLY WORKS!
This is Forest from the band Hello Goodbye... you hear the song "Here in Your Arms" on Q104.
This is PUTTY!!!! Remember him from Seinfeld? His real name is PATRICK WARBURTON and he's in a new show on CBS - Rules of Engagement. He was a GREAT GUY to talk to...
You've heard Rocco DeLuca on the Now Music Challenge at night on Q104, and here he is sayin' hi at the Grammy Broadcast!

HANKY PANKY RECIPE

When a caller mentioned that she was making "Hanky Pankies" this weekend for her Superbowl Party, everone wanted to know the recipe! I got a bunch emailed to me... feel free to use whichever you like! (they all seem quite similar... but ya have a few to choose from)

Here they are:

FROM LISTENER CONNIE
1lb ground meat
1lb bob evan's pork sausage (i use the maple flavored as it really gives a great taste) 1lb velveeta cheese

In a skillet brown ground meat and sausage. drain fat. cube the cheese and continue cooking over low heat until cheese melted.
Put little breads on cookie sheet and put spoonful of meat onto the little breads.
These are great to make ahead of time and you can keep them covered on cookie sheet until you are ready to bake them at 350 approximately 15 minutes and then serve!

FROM LISTENER DEB
Use the small 3 x 3 bread-- Rye or Pumpernickel is the best.

also need Velveeta Cheese- sliced,--the amount of cheese and meat is to your preference

Take as much ground meat you need for the quantity of bread, fry till brown with seasons ( salt, pepper & onion cut small) Brown, when meat is brown add the Velveeta cheese till melted and use a teaspoon to spread on the bread-- bake at 300 degrees for about 10-15 minute Remove from oven and eat.

FROM LISTENER MEILISSA
2 pounds Bob Evans Mild Sausage
2 pounds Ground Beef 90/10
1 2# block Velveeta
2 loaves Pumpernickel cocktail bread

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Brown sausage and beef until cooked thoroughly. Drain all fat.

Cut velveeta into cubes and add to beef mixture a little at a time, stirring constantly until all added and completely melted.

Spoon about 1 TBSP of mixture onto each piece of bread....arrange on cookie sheet and bake until bread toasts slights - about 5-7 minutes depending on the oven!
